The Sherbrooke that I love…

With its ever-present rivers and green spaces, this city is easy to fall in love with. It’s not surprising that many artists carry this heritage with them, whether here in the region, across Quebec or around the world.

My favourite spots include the Maison des Arts et de la Culture de Brompton, in the Bromptonville borough, and the Uplands Cultural and Heritage Centre in the Lennoxville borough. Both these locations stand out for their very different atmospheres, but are staffed by passionate people who are happy to welcome you. If Bromptonville is all about modernity, Lennoxville is about the past. Each location makes you want to sit back to contemplate and then discover the exhibits presenting different artists.

After taking in your fill of culture, I suggest that we take a tea or a coffee in a cute local spot.

I invite you to come visit Sherbrooke, a city full of history, heritage and culture. But just like me, it is also a city that is young at heart and ready to welcome you!
